Benefits Advice for CCHA Residents
In recent months CCHA's residents have been benefiting from a 'Welfare Benefits Advice Service' based at Norfolk House for 16 hours a week.
Working In partnership with Croydon Council CCHA now has the facility to provide advice to its General Needs Residents on claiming and understanding their entitlement to a range of different benefits including Income Support, Disability Living Allowance, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Council Tax Benefit and Housing Benefit. So far this service has worked very successfully in helping residents to claim backdated payments and to help them meet rent payments by resolving issues around Housing Benefit Claims.
