Joining the Association
The Association is controlled by a Board, which is elected by the shareholding members of the Association. As a resident you are welcome to become a shareholding member and many of CCHA's residents are members. Under our rules Residents cannot hold more than one third of the total shares in the Association at any one time.
If you would like to apply to become a shareholder please write to the Chief Executive stating this request and an application form will be sent to you. The cost of the share is £1.00 non refundable. The Board has to approve shareholding membership. When approval is given a Shareholder can attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and has voting rights at this meeting. Annual Report and Accounts are sent to Shareholders a month prior to the AGM.
