For Our Customers

CCHA has developed excellent housing services over 3 key areas:- General Needs, Housing for Older People and Supported Housing.

How do people get a home with CCHA?

CCHA does not operate an open waiting list, instead we have an agreement with both Croydon and Sutton Local Authorities that a percentage of all empty properties are used to house applicants on their waiting lists. The remaining properties are used within our allocations systems to re-house residents within our stock.

Buying a home of your own

The Government Scheme of ‘Right to Buy’ is at present only available to Council Tenants.

The ‘Right to Acquire’ is a scheme giving eligible tenants of registered social landlords the legal right to buy the home they currently rent.

Resident Involvement

CCHA actively encourages the involvement of our residents in influencing the way we manage our association. To ensure that we do include residents in the consultation and development processes of our association, we have set up forums and meetings and are currently piloting resident representatives on our estates.

Further to this we regularly conduct customer satisfaction surveys and record feedback from residents which helps us shape and improve the quality of our services. We value your opinions and ask that you continue to have a say in the services we provide for you.
