First Christmas Card!
Board Planning Weekend
Had my first Christmas card today! The YMCA runs a conference centre in Sussex to which our volunteer Board go to have their planning weekend once a year. This was a few weeks ago, YMCA have a lovely staff team there and clearly we were in their minds and at the top of their Christmas card list! The Board worked all weekend on the subject of "Risk" and how to make the best decisions in an increasingly risky world.
I always think it's fantastic that people are prepared to give up their private time, unpaid, to sit on Boards - if you want to find out more about our Board Members each of their profiles is on this website.
Er...oh, just seen that the card is addressed to "All at CCHA" and have had to pass the card around making my office suddenly look rather bare again. Tear stained mince pie anyone?
